LESC returned to COP25, creating a space for in-depth dialogue with policy-makers at two events hosted on December 9-10th. The first event entitled “Systems Transformation for a 1.5 Degree World” featured distinguished guests panelists from government, academia, business, and civil society who addressed decarbonization solutions in power, transport, industrial, and buildings sectors, and highlighted the sector coupling opportunities available with a systems approach.
The second event was a High-Level Dinner Dialogue entitled "Circular Economy: Driving Systems Transformation to Net-Zero" that promoted a dialogue between business, government, and academia on what it means to realize a circular economy to various sectors and what are the key solutions to getting to net zero emissions across all sectors by mid-century.
